We are looking for an employee (m/f/d) for Product Safety at the Cologne location as soon as possible. The place of work is Cologne, home office option is available.

The Senior Expert is member of the Product Safety (PS) Team Europe providing product compliance relevant Data and Documents in the internal product release processes in cooperation with stakeholders from Regulatory Affairs, Production and Logistics, including the tasks:

● Collection, evaluation, and maintenance of PS Data in Omya database
● Classification regarding CLP and other legal requirements relevant for Region Europe
● Generation of REACH compliant Safety data sheets, Dangerous Goods data for shipping documents and hazard labels.
● Participation in projects for Maintenance and development of relevant business processes and IT systems
● Cross regional collaboration in Omya global EHS expert community

Skill profile:

● Motivation to carefully evaluate regulatory requirements based on chemical technical data.
● Good knowledge of chemistry (level Bachelor or chemical-technical education).
● experience in the field of regulatory affairs (e.g., knowledge of classification and labeling according to GHS or dangerous goods regulations)
● Knowledge in SAP, especially in the EH&S module desirable
● Good communication skills
● Good written and spoken English required, German and other languages an advantage.
● Independent, responsible working style
● Ability to work in a team, flexibility, and high motivation.
