Italienische postmoderne Sprossenwand-Konsole, 1986
Postmodernes, pyramidenförmiges, wandstehendes Bar-Konsol, ausgestellt auf dem "Salone Del Mobile" in Mailand im Jahr 1986.
Es besteht aus blau lackierten Stahlseitenwänden, Wandstützen, die eine mit schwarzem Gummi beschichtete MDF-Platte halten, und Brettseiten mit rotem Resopal. Platte aus Aluminiumholz mit Glasboden. Pyramidenförmiger Korpus aus schwarz lackiertem Holz mit verspiegeltem Fach "Dry Bar", Seiten mit Aluminium beschichtet.
Provenienz Privatsammler in Basel, Schweiz.
Leider ist der Designer-/Herstellerkatalog verloren gegangen und der einzige sichtbare Stempel auf der Rückseite wurde entfernt. Wahrscheinlich handelte es sich um ein Unikat, eine Art Prototyp, der nur für den "Salone" gefertigt wurde.
Dieses Stück weist Ähnlichkeiten mit Pierre Cardin und Francesco Bocola "Sculpture Ultilitaire" auf.

Italian Post Modern Wall-Bar-Console, 1986
Post-modern pyramid-shaped-totem, wall standing bar-console exhibited at "Salone Del Mobile", Milano in 1986.
It consists in blue lacquered steel laterals wall standing supports, holding a MDF board coated with black rubber, board sides with red formica. Top in wood aluminium with a glass shelf. Pyramid-shaped body in black lacquered wood with a mirrored "dry bar" compartment, sides coated with aluminium.
Provenance private collector in Basel, Switzerland.
Unfortunately the designer/manufacturer catalogue got lost and the only aparent stamp on the back has been removed. Probably it was a unique piece, a kind of prototype manufactured only for the "Salone".
This piece shows similarities with Pierre Cardin and Francesco Bocola "Sculpture Ultilitaire".
