For sale is this very unique factory original MGB GT V8 from 1976! Only 2591 V8s were built between 1973 and 1976.
The ones you can find are often a self-built version or converted from RHD to LHD and modified.
That's not the case with this one. Equipped with the original 4-speed gearbox with electronic overdrive and engine block that is still original as delivered from the factory. Matching numbers, as stated on the Heritage Certificate, which is really unique!
Much has been done to it over the years, big folder with history and invoices available.
In very nice condition. Recently fitted with 4 adjustable Spax shock absorbers, new coil springs at the front and new leaf springs at the rear. Engine equipped with electronic ignition, major service and new electric fuel pump.
Starts/runs/drives fantastic! Corrosion very tight except for 1 spot on the left rear wheel edge. (See photo 14) The bottom is just as beautiful as the top and not welded.
Everything works well electrically, including all meters.
Appraised on 13-06-2024 by an expert for a value of €42,000.
In short, a beautiful, very rare car!
