Web Developer (m/f/d)

Join a fabulous team of web developers and UX designers to lay the foundation of a growing cloud platform and shape the future of mobility! You'll play a key role in implementing our in-house design system, translating UI designs into fully functional applications, and advancing our frontend architecture as well as tooling with modern technologies.  

● Write clean, efficient, and well-documented TypeScript and React code.
● Develop and maintain our internal React UI component library, hand-in-hand with our UX designers.
● Extend and improve internal shared TypeScript libraries, enabling other PTV teams.
● Collaborate with design and backend teams to build web apps and contribute to a growing cloud platform.
● Engage in collaborative code reviews, upholding quality standards and share knowledge.
● Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in JavaScript, React, and further front-end technologies, while putting them to use.

Basic:

● Modern HTML, CSS and JavaScript (ES6+) knowledge.
● Good understanding of TypeScript and React.
● Being familiar with unit testing and related JavaScript frameworks such as Jest or Vitest.
● Experience with Git and its collaborative workflows.
● Problem solving skills and attention to detail.
● Great communication skills and a collaborative mindset.  

Nice to have:

● Experience in maintaining TypeScript and React libraries.
● Being familiar with Redux or similar state management solutions.
● Expertise in creating accessible, WCAG-compliant web UIs and components.
● Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for React applications.
● Experience in backend technologies and RESTful APIs.
